In stark contrast to my experience this weekend with “Krupstomer Service,” I received a delightful response from Peet’s Coffee today. I had emailed via a Contact link on the website, just like Krups, but in this case, a human being emailed me back, referred to my specific question told me she’s already sent me a new bag of coffee.

She went on to offer some helpful tips and at the end asked me to contact her if I had any other questions or concerns. Well done, Peet’s!

The great thing is, her answer really didn’t help and I’m happy nonetheless. I said their new bags rip too easily, and she just kinda said, “yeah, they can rip, but try doing this instead…” But the thing is, she’s sending me more free coffee, and I feel like I was treated like the good, loyal customer I am. That’s all I really needed.
