I love this story because it shows the raw power of social media when used by smart entrepreneurs: Three up-and-coming resturanteurs have the idea to serve late-night Korean BBQ from a taco truck and broadcast their roaming locations via Twitter and their blog. A mere thirty days later, it is the talk of L.A. with 500 people waiting in line nightly for a taste.
I also love this because I’ve often told people who need a cheap website for their new business to try adapting a free blog instead. Kogi has done this flawlessly with www.kogibbq.com but more importantly, they use it to maintain a free and easy dialogue with their customers answering questions about the latest location or just saying “thanks” for all the kudos.
