Kirk Skodis

Kirk Skodis is the CEO and Co-Founder of Trustworthy. He has over thirty-five  years experience in consumer relationships, since trying to exchange a Corgi 007 Aston Martin at Buddy Brown’s Toys in Studio City because the ejector seat wasn’t ejecting a tiny James Bond. Two weeks’ allowance was at stake and he fought hard to win the sympathy of the skeptical clerk.

Kirk also co-owns and operates Real Pie Media, an award-winning digital creative agency that has pioneered social media marketing strategies for clients like Fox Searchlight, MGM Mirage, Disney and Activision. In 2004, he personally taught Zach Braff how to moblog from airports and hotel lobbies while on his press tour for the film Garden State. In the four years since, the social media landscape has had a profound impact on Kirk’s (and by extension, Real Pie’s) marketing philosophies.

Before starting Real Pie in 2000, Kirk was a successful Animatronics Designer for the Stan Winston Studio. There, he created and performed the Budweiser ferret, The Lost World’s stegasaurus and many other hideous creatures. Kirk attended USC School of Cinema & Television and grew up in Los Angeles where he now lives with his co-entrepreneur wife and two children.

Holly Skodis

Holly Skodis

Holly Skodis is the CVO and Co-Founder of Trustworthy. God help the customer service rep who finds himself staring down the business-end of Holly’s take-no-prisoners approach. She left grown men sobbing in her wake during the great Directv wars of 2006.

Holly also co-owns Real Pie Media, an award-winning digital creative agency that has pioneered social media marketing strategies for clients like Fox Searchlight, MGM Mirage, Disney and Activision. Her many hats include Administration, HR and Finance as well as advising on all major creative strategies.

Prior to Real Pie, Holly was an Art Director at Disney Online. She lead the creative team for all non-branded properties like Hollywood Records, Walt Disney Records and Disney On Broadway. Holly studied digital design at UCLA after years of fine arts training. She lives in Los Angeles with her overworked husband and two children.

Rob Flemming

Rob Flemming

Rob Flemming is the COO and Co-Founder of Trustworthy. The Marines may have taught him to fight, but he learned how to kill at CAA. He rules with a golden hammer but only breaks the glass in case of emergencies. We don’t know what that means either, but the hammer freaks us out, so we don’t ask.

Rob has been VP of Interactive Marketing and “Chief of Chiefs” at Real Pie Media for over three years, making sure the trains run on time and leading the social media marketing initiatives for clients like Fox Searchlight Pictures, NBC Universal, Showtime and 20th Century Fox.

Before Trustworthy and Real Pie, Rob worked in the New Media division of Creative Artists Agency (CAA), a talent and literary agency based in Beverly Hills, California,  focusing on the intersections between technology, entertainment, and marketing, forging strategies for clients based on new media, video games, and emerging distribution platforms.

Rob graduated with a B.A. in Media Production from Emerson College in Boston, MA and now lives in Norwalk, CT – the future home of Trustworthy, HQ.

Travis Dent

Travis Dent

Travis Dent is the CTO and Co-Founder of Trustworthy. While technology and computers have been a cardinal interest since the early part of his life, the fast pace and self-taught nature of web development has been the most enjoyable for him yet. Preferring the community-driven nature of open source software, he works predominantly in Python, Ruby and PHP.

His primary responsibility is to design and develop our internal software, including conversation aggregation, case flow management and report generation. The Trustworthy suite of tools is written in Python with help from the Django framework.

Not being one for formal education, after high school Travis skipped college and got to work. Except for his first job in the industry at a local design studio, and a short period on Real Pie’s payroll, he’s been working freelance from the comfort of his home for the duration of his development career. After living in and around Los Angeles he recently made the jump up to Portland, Oregon where he lives with his girlfriend, Briana and dog, Moose.
